The road so far
The Spark
Class 5: wrote my first HTML & CSS. It wasn’t pretty, but it lit the fuse. By Class 7, I was writing C++ and realizing logic could be art.
Foundations
Class 9: learned proper web dev with pure HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. Built my first fun clones — a Spotify UI and later a fully functional Airbnb clone during COVID.
First Real Builds
Deep dive into MERN. Shipped projects that weren’t just tutorials but actual apps. Fell in love with turning concepts into experiences.
Freelance Hustle
Started on Upwork, delivering small gigs. Each bug fixed was a paycheck and a lesson. Built confidence through real clients, real deadlines.
From Freelancer to Builder
Built todayeggrates.com from scratch — now past 34.2k clicks and 2K monthly users. Also developed kolkatachessacademy.com + a custom LMS, experimenting with React + PHP stacks outside the usual MERN path.
Parallel Worlds
